Personalized health coaching is much more than exercise routines and meal planning.  


Here's what to expect: 

  • REMOVE THE CONFUSION: You're here because you want to feel better. But the journey can seem like a windy road. You're tired of the fatigue and symptoms. Sadly, doctors cannot spend enough time with you anymore. You and I will get to root of your issues. We can use functional assessments that reveal mineral dysregulation, stress patterns, deficiencies and more. I give you a straight pathway to wellness.
  • TAKE ACTION: Based on your assessments, goals, and values, we'll create a personalized road map from a holistic perspective. You'll know WHAT steps you're taking and WHY. 
  • GET SUPPORT: That's what I'm here for. There's somehow too much information available and not enough at the same time which can be frustrating. I can analyze your labs and simplify the healing process so you worry less and get to feeling better.  

I give you the tools so you can learn how to balance your body. Did you know that minerals run the show? Mineral dysregulation precedes symptoms. Replenish your minerals and your body can heal itself. Here are some examples...

 

  • Low vitamin D is an indication of low magnesium. Magnesium is a KEY catalyst for managing vitamin D status. When D is low, this as a sign of inflammation. Low D is not a cause of inflammation. Supplementing with D will NOT help you get to the root of your issues.
  •  Menopause is not meant to be miserable (and the average age used to be 58!). Low magnesium leads to perimenopause at a young age. Hormone Replacement Therapy does not get to the root cause.
  • Moles, acne, weight gain, hormone imbalance, heavy periods and frequent fevers are signs of iron overload. 
  • Eye problems (styes, infections, poor vision, red eyes) can be helped with the protocol and point to a retinol deficiency.
  • Thyroid issues are an indication of low bioavailable copper.  
  • Cavities are helped (and often healed!) when you work with me. Magnesium and retinol help to heal teeth. 
  • Grey hair/hair loss is an indication of low copper and mineral dysregulation.
  • Headaches and migraines can be stopped with potassium (put cream of tartar under your tongue at onset).

Hi, I'm Katie. A wife, mom of 3, and passionate about health. I have my masters in education and taught 1st grade for 10 years before I became a stay at home mom. For decades, I was plagued with low energy, food intolerances, sinus infections, hormone imbalances and terrible allergies. I was on countless antibiotics. My children have been my best teachers and are the reason I now help others to heal as a holistic health coach and certified Root Cause Protocol Consultant.

Iron Dysregulation

This is a very important dynamic to understand: iron is the metal that ages us. It’s what’s behind oxidative stress. It’s also the trigger for the loss of magnesium that leads to inflammation. Our foods have been "fortified" with iron since the 1940's. Meaning you'll find iron in conventional breads, baby formula and cereals. It's in our multi and prenatal vitamins.  From our root cause perspective, iron causes rust when it's not managed correctly.  And we're all being exposed to too much iron. We need important minerals, like magnesium, to manage this excess iron.  If you have anemia, then we should talk. I know that I can help you!
