I didn't feel well for most of my 20's. When my babies started going down that same path, I said enough was enough.


My eyes opened to the power of healing when I discovered that food really is medicine. For me, this was a relief because I could control what groceries we bought. The decisions we made inside the home did matter. Our health wasn't out of our control. Managing our diet helped, but it wasn't quite enough.


I worked for two tyears with a functional nutritonist who put myself and son on iron, zinc and vitamin D. While we felt better at first, we eventually became sicker. I have since discovered that our bodies are not meant to be bombarded with synthetic supplements. Mother nature knows best...and these supplements cause more harm than good. I've seen it over and over again in labwork and client testimonials of how the iron, for example, isn't resolving their issues. It may help at first, but it certainly isn't solving the underlying problems in the body. In fact, many more syptoms usually show up after taking iron...poor sleep, high anxiety, perimenopause.
